Support manufacturing productivity and quality as a Papermill Technical Assistant focused on operating assets, process data, and technical guidance. English is required; French is an asset.

This position reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Services and supports daily operating department needs. Responsibilities span troubleshooting, special testing, process conditions, operating guidelines, technology recommendations, and improvements affecting production, quality, cost, and environmental impact. The role also contributes to capital expenditure reports and process design improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support operating departments through troubleshooting and data analysis
- Optimize assets for maximum productivity and quality
- Monitor process conditions and restore performance targets




- Recommend technology, operating guideline, and end-use improvements
- Provide statistical analysis supporting capital expenditure decisions

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Preferred Chemical or Process Engineering education
- At least two years of experience
- English proficiency in spoken and written communication
- Papermaking experience and qualified engineering membership are assets
