As Manager, Research & Development, you lead projects from concept through commercialization for tortillas, bagels, and English muffins. You coordinate with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain. Your work connects consumer and customer needs with scalable products, manufacturing feasibility, food safety, quality, sustainability, and financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate market insights into minimum viable bakery product concepts
- Plan and document sensory, shelf-life, and production evaluations
- Make technical decisions during trials, start-ups, and issue resolution




- Align projects with commercial priorities, margins, and growth targets
- Maintain formulation, trial, specification, and commercialization documentation

Requirements:

- Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related discipline
- Eight or more years in CPG, FMCG, or food beverage R&D;
- Five or more years of leadership experience
- Robust project management and organizational capabilities
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
