As a term full-time Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work under Clinical Care Manager or Clinical Nurse Leader supervision. The role supports treatments, procedures, care-plan implementation, and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Endoscopy and minor-procedure education would be considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care within established professional practices
- Provide supportive and curative treatments and procedures
- Help develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on discharge planning
- Advocate for patients using assertive communication skills
Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse certification in Yukon Territory
- Current C.P.R. certification
- At least six months assigned-unit nursing experience
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Endoscopy and minor-procedure continuing education considered an asset
