The full time, permanent Operations Manager Trainee role develops candidates for future operations management responsibilities. Through personal mentorship, on-the-job training, e-learning, virtual sessions, and webinars, you will strengthen leadership, operational understanding, and communication. The program covers grain handling operations, customer service, risk management, compliance, and health and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn responsibilities required for successful Operations Manager progression
- Develop leadership and communication through practical training
- Understand grain procurement and customer service processes
- Learn risk management, compliance, and food safety
- Build knowledge of quality control and audit requirements
Requirements:
- At least two years of grain elevator experience
- Demonstrated progression in operational responsibilities
- Working knowledge of grain grading and storage
- Mechanical repair and equipment maintenance experience
- Teamwork, leadership ability, computer skills, travel, relocation flexibility
