This part time News and Media Relations Officer supports the University’s visibility, reputation, and engagement. You will develop communications plans covering teaching, research, and student experience. Your content will reach external audiences through social, digital, and traditional media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft media releases and reactive reputation statements
- Provide expert commentary for media communications
- Identify opportunities to promote University activity
- Collaborate with academics and students to source stories




- Support speeches, scripts, and editorial materials

Requirements:

- Ability to translate University achievements into compelling narratives
- Experience creating written, graphic, and video content
- Ability to handle media enquiries professionally
- Skill in collaborating across professional services teams
- Availability for part-time hybrid campus working
