As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will troubleshoot control systems, motors, circuits, and facility infrastructure supporting continuous manufacturing. The position combines hands-on repairs with electrical testing, preventive maintenance, and accurate quality documentation. You will also guide junior technicians and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair complex electrical equipment and control malfunctions
- Install, replace, connect, and test circuits
- Measure voltage, loads, and ground fault integrity
- Interpret drawings, diagrams, and electrical code specifications
- Provide electrical testing guidance and apprentice training
Requirements:
- Two years’ experience in HVAC electrical work
- Knowledge of PLC systems, components, and safety protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues independently
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
