AltaGas is seeking a Relief Operator to provide added support alongside full time operations staff. You will assist with equipment checks, maintenance preparation, permitting, and routine plant tasks. This full-time schedule runs seven days on, seven days off, with rotating twelve-hour night and day shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist plant operators with daily operational tasks
- Prepare equipment safely for maintenance lockout
- Assist with purging equipment before maintenance
- Change filters and support pipeline pigging activities
- Assist with safe work permits for maintenance
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent qualification
- Fourth Class Power Engineering certificate or progress toward it
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Positive attitude toward facility operations
- Desire to learn operational procedures and tasks
Use Power Engineering knowledge, maintenance support, and safe work practices as an AltaGas Relief Operator.
