Use early childhood development knowledge as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with TVDSB at Eagle Heights School, London, Ontario.

This 10 month position supports the Kindergarten program for four and five year olds. Working with the Kindergarten Teacher, the Early Childhood Educator plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities, assesses development, and supports healthy learning environments. The schedule is seven hours daily from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Kindergarten Teacher on program planning
- Support developmentally appropriate learning activities for children
- Monitor and assess children’s ongoing development
- Maintain positive physical, emotional, and social environments




- Provide family communication opportunities when extended day programs operate

Requirements:

- Completed ECE Quick Track Diploma with prior post-secondary diploma
- Or completed equivalent degree in early childhood studies
- Current College of Early Childhood Educators registration
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen is an asset
- Proof of educational qualifications and CECE registration
