The position supports patients undergoing transcatheter cardiac procedures, device implantation, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Care includes preparation, recovery, discharge, assessments, interventions, education, and occasional procedural assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the outpatient setting
- Prepare, recover, and discharge cardiac procedure patients
- Assess patients and plan, perform, evaluate nursing interventions
- Teach patients and families about health care and self-care




- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and referrals

Requirements:

- Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Registered Nurse
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Approved cardiology, high acuity, or equivalent preparation
- Arrhythmia interpretation and one year cardiac monitoring experience
- Current Basic Rescuer Certificate and clinical proficiency
