This Nurse Practitioner works under the Director, Critical Care, providing direct and indirect comprehensive services. The position supports inpatient, outpatient, and community-based cardiology patients. It also advances staff education, clinical practice, research, and scholarly activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care using advanced assessment and clinical therapeutics
- Support cardiology patients across assigned care settings
- Consult with nurses, physicians, patients, and families
- Develop educational programs for staff and professionals
- Advance nursing knowledge through research activities
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Extended Class certification with Acute Care certification
- Current Level 3 medical surgical intensive care experience
- Current Level 2 or 3 coronary care experience
- Current Basic Rescuer and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Excellent communication, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
