Teach heavy equipment technology at NAIT’s Main Campus using industry expertise, instructional delivery, and student-focused academic support. This is a full-time onsite position.

As a Continuous Instructor, you will prepare learning activities, assess progress, and support students in classroom, laboratory, and industry settings. The role requires a Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson ticket, OPET Certification, and recent industry experience. You will contribute to curriculum development, program reviews, and course reviews while maintaining academic records. Strong communication, organization, Microsoft Office proficiency, and adult education experience support success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare learning outcomes and activities for varied instructional settings




- Deliver course materials through effective instructional strategies
- Create assessments and maintain student progress records
- Coach and tutor students to support achievement and retention
- Participate in curriculum and program reviews

Requirements:

- High School Diploma
- Alberta Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson ticket or equivalent
- OPET Certification and preferred Inter-Provincial Red Seal
- At least five years recent post-ticket industry experience
- Microsoft Office and solid communication skills
