Support waste and recycling operations as a Level 1 Technician with customer service and material tracking responsibilities in Lac La Biche County. This permanent full-time position works as needed, Monday through Saturday.

Lac La Biche County seeks a Level 1 Technician for designated waste and recycling sites. The work combines public service, source separation, waste reduction, load recording, and general labour. Candidates should bring communication, conflict resolution, and basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide site service to patrons, colleagues, and supervisors
- Encourage source separation before patrons enter designated sites
- Promote reducing, reusing, recycling, and repurposing materials




- Track and record loads and materials entering sites
- Complete other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- One to three years related experience preferred
- Valid transfer site certificate required or obtainable
- Household Hazardous Waste Disposal certificate required or obtainable
- First Aid, TDG, and WHMIS certifications or willingness to obtain
