Provide person-centered resident support as an Uncertified Health Care Aide at Vita & District Health Centre, working in person across wide-ranging shifts.

Southern Health-Santé Sud seeks a permanent, 0.5 FTE UHCA for its Personal Care Home. Under nursing team-leader direction, you will support Activities of Daily Living, follow care plans, and maintain competency through education and certifications. The role requires initiative and independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support residents and patients with Activities of Daily Living
- Follow care plans and established standards of practice
- Determine work priorities and methods independently
- Take appropriate action on unusual matters
- Engage in education and certifications to maintain competency

Requirements:

- Completed micro-credential course for this position
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent combination
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Acute Care
- One to two years healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and respect confidentiality
