This position supports the render farm alongside Pipeline team members and facility supervisors. You will monitor queues, debug failed frames, assist lighting and compositing crews, and develop production tools. The work requires understanding CG workflows, software engineering principles, and render management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wrangle and debug render farm issues for production teams
- Assist members when jobs fail or remain stuck
- Develop tools optimizing render farm usage
- Document tools and workflows clearly
- Follow coding standards and rollout procedures
Requirements:
- One plus years wrangling farms or developing CG code
- Production Python coding experience
- Hands on Maya, Nuke, Houdini, and Deadline experience
- Software engineering and CG workflow understanding
- Linux familiarity and British Columbia work eligibility
