Apply inpatient coding expertise at Humber River Health’s Wilson Site as a temporary full-time Health Information Management Skilled. Work days total 37.5 hours weekly.

This Health Information Services position reports to the Manager, Clinical Data Collection. You will review patient records, assign ICD-10-CA/CCI codes, and abstract information using CIHI standards. The assignment continues until May 16, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze patient records for inpatient coding
- Assign ICD-10-CA/CCI codes supporting proper grouping outcomes
- Abstract information according to CIHI standards and hospital policy
- Complete and balance all visits for monthly coding
- Document productivity according to departmental protocols

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited Health Information Management Program
- Certified member of the Canadian Health Information Management Association
- Two to three years of inpatient coding experience
- Knowledge of CIHI DAD, NACRS, products, and standards
- Effective communication and independent teamwork abilities
