Operate vacuum and pressure equipment as a Class 1 Driver with Industrial Services in St. John's, Newfoundland. Manage hoses, pumps, booms, and valves safely.

This Class 1 Driver position supports Industrial Services through fluid handling, equipment operation, and documentation. Drivers load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including drilling fluids, sludge, sewage, and wastewater. The work includes inspections, maintenance, safety compliance, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate vacuum pumps, hoses, booms, valves, and pressure equipment
- Load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Complete inspections, greasing, fluid checks, and supply top-ups
- Perform hose dragging, tank cleaning, climbing, crouching,



and kneeling
- Maintain ELD logs, manifests, work orders, and required documentation

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 licence with manual transmission and air brake
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pound hoses
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Availability for out-of-town, rotational, overtime, and on-call work
- Ability to use the Geotab electronic log system
