- Performing pre-trip inspection of tractors and all trailers.
- Driving to Sysco locations to pick up empty trailers and drop off full trailers. Typically two trailers are connected for each trip.
- Maintaining travel logs (destinations, departure and arrival times, repairs, breakdowns, delays).
- Driving tractors to yards where they are needed. (typically 1 trip per night).
- Filling tractors with fuel as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
