Inventory buying expertise drives replenishment at Rexel’s Calgary Foothills location, supporting 56 branches across Western Canada. Manage suppliers, delivery dates, and stock availability.

As Buyer for Rexel’s Western procurement team, you will replenish inventory across the distribution network. The work focuses on targeted turns, fill rate objectives, purchase orders, and delivery coordination. You will review demand, resolve supplier issues, and support branch inventory needs. Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Outlook and Excel, supports daily systems work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Place orders with suppliers across the distribution network
- Maintain purchase order costs and delivery dates
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supplier non-conformance issues




- Review demand and maintain branch stocking levels
- Rebalance surplus inventory and review critical items daily

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education or two to three years’ related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- AS400 or GAINS experience considered an asset
- Independent problem-solving with minimal supervision
- Solid organization, time management, and communication skills
