Carfair Composites, an NFI Group company, seeks a Mold Maintenance Specialist working Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. You will develop foundational technical skills while maintaining molds for proper part specifications. The work includes fiberglass components and composite manufacturing, with close supervision during development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restore and maintain mold geometry to part specifications
- Apply mold release interfaces properly
- Maintain body frames, wheels, and hardware
- Use hand and pneumatic tools to patch, sand, and spray
- Communicate mold issues and schedule maintenance with production
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints
- Manufacturing or production experience is advantageous
- Fiberglass or automotive bodywork experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
