Accounting Associate expertise in purchase orders and accounts payable supports MTIE’s Finance team full-time in Happy Valley–Goose Bay, NL. Relocation is required.

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this term maternity position supports daily financial operations for Mamu Tshishkutamashutau Innu Education. The work includes payroll, vendor accounts, reconciliations, expense claims, and accurate records. Collaboration with departments supports timely, policy-aligned processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate purchase orders, approvals, and procurement policy alignment
- Process vendor invoices, cheques, and electronic funds transfers
- Assist payroll preparation, deductions, records, and inquiries
- Reconcile accounts and support month-end procedures
- Maintain financial records and provide administrative support

Requirements:

- Accounting diploma or related certificate
- Minimum three years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Robust accuracy and attention to detail
- Organizational and time-management skills
