Lead evidence-based environmental health compliance work for Fraser Health’s Health Promotion & Protection Services in Delta, BC.

This casual Environmental Health Officer position combines regulatory inspections, data analysis, education, and community engagement. You will assess plans, legislation, laboratory findings, and environmental conditions while supporting improved standards and controls. The role also contributes to committees, student practica, and employee orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze public health and environmental protection data
- Research standards, policies, bylaws, and regulatory controls
- Prepare evidence-based education programs and awareness campaigns
- Facilitate community engagement and population health planning
- Support committees, students,



and current employee orientation

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health or equivalent
- Certificate in Public Health Inspection, Canada, granted by CIPHI
- Eligibility for Canadian Institute registration in British Columbia
- Ability to interpret technical, legislative, laboratory, and engineering documents
- Ability to communicate publicly and prepare written reports
