Deliver primarily physical therapy interventions as a Therapy Assistant in Lacombe, Alberta, supporting patient mobility, exercise, and functional training.

This Therapy Assistant role contributes to effective rehabilitation services across the health care continuum. You will work under physiotherapist and occupational therapist direction, while collaborating with audiologists, recreation therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Responsibilities may include mobility aids, activities of daily living training, therapeutic transfers, equipment inspection, and preparing treatment areas. You may also support group exercise programming for respiratory clients under a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The position includes direct and indirect client care for people of all ages, plus non-client service provision. Scheduling, ordering, cleaning, inventory, and supply duties are also included. Quality improvement, program planning,



and student supervision may provide opportunities to use clinical and interpersonal skills.
