First Choice Millwork is seeking a detail-oriented estimator for a full-time, Calgary office-based position. The work centers on preparing project estimates while supporting Project Managers with coordination. You will review specifications, obtain pricing, and help maintain project documentation throughout commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review drawings and specifications for commercial millwork projects
- Prepare material takeoffs, project estimates, and estimate packages
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Coordinate approvals, RFIs, change orders, and project documents
- Track schedules, costs,
outstanding items, and project handovers
Requirements:
- Construction estimating or commercial millwork experience preferred
- Ability to read architectural drawings and complete material takeoffs
- Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through
- Excel proficiency and solid computer skills
- Estimating software experience, including Innergy or Bluebeam, is an asset
