CityWest is looking for a seasoned, high-energy Head of Sales to drive growth across our customer base. You'll lead a sales team, set the pace, and personally close deals, all while bringing fresh ideas to how we win in the market. This is a hands-on selling and leadership role for someone who hustles, inspires the people around them, and never misses a target.

- Location: BC or Alberta candidates considered
- Travel: Extensive travel in and around BC required
- Compensation: $85-90K base with the expectation that high performance from commission based compensation will substantially increase earnings potential. Excellent benefits and pension package.

What you'll do

- Own and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets from the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Find, pursue and close new accounts
- Grow subscriber numbers through direct sales, community events and promotions
- Build and manage a strong pipeline, and forecast results accurately
- Negotiate pricing and contracts, and close deals

Lead and inspire the team

- Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to hit and beat their goals
- Set clear expectations, track performance and hold the team accountable
- Lead from the front: join customer calls, run events and close alongside your team
- Recruit, onboard and develop top sales talent

Grow the market

- Travel extensively across BC, build relationships and open new markets




- Drive growth in established markets by finding new ways to reach customers we’re not yet serving
- Bring outside-the-box ideas for campaigns, partnerships and new ways to reach customers
- Work closely with marketing, customer service and technical teams to deliver a great customerexperience
- Track competitor activity and market trends, and act on what you learn
- Report on sales activity, results and opportunities to leadership

What you bring

- 10+ years of sales experience, including both residential (consumer) and business (B2B) sales
- A proven track record of consistently meeting or beating sales targets, with the numbers to back it up
- Experience leading a sales team and driving team performance
- Strong closing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with CRM tools, pipeline management and sales reporting
- Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively across BC
- Telecommunications, internet or technology sales experience is an asset
