Gowest Gold is recruiting a Mine Engineering Technician, Technologist, or Engineer in Training for Ventilation Technician or Longhole Planner duties. The successful candidate supports Bradshaw Engineering under the Engineering Supervisor or designate. Work includes mine planning, scheduling, ventilation, design software, and operational data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare mine plans, layouts, drawings, schedules, and technical reports
- Develop production, development, ventilation, and infrastructure plans
- Support weekly and monthly planning to achieve operational targets
- Verify geological, survey,
and operational data before designs
- Track planned versus actual mine performance and improvements
Requirements:
- Mining Engineering degree or technologist/technician diploma
- One to three years related underground mining experience preferred
- Required experience with Deswik mine planning software
- Experience planning and scheduling underground operations
- Valid driver’s license and strong computer skills
