About the role

EY is hiring an entry-level Consultant for its Cyber Consulting team in Toronto. The role supports client engagements and internal initiatives focused on cybersecurity and IT risk, with particular emphasis on cyber threat readiness.

Responsibilities

- Support the planning, development, delivery, analysis, and reporting of cyber threat simulation exercises.
- Assist with cybersecurity playbooks, response plans, procedures, training, workshops, and exercise materials.
- Conduct research, interviews, document reviews, and data analysis; document findings and contribute observations and recommendations.
- Track assigned work, communicate progress and risks, and prepare for and participate in client meetings and working sessions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, proposals, practice development, and continued learning across Cyber Consulting service areas.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate or master's degree, completed or expected shortly,



preferably in information security, business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Up to two years of relevant experience, including employment, internships, co-op placements, academic projects, volunteer work, or military service.
- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity and awareness of commonly used frameworks and standards.
- Analytical, research, problem-solving, written communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Interest in developing multimedia content such as videos or other materials for cyber readiness engagements. French and English bilingual skills are highly preferred.

Compensation

Toronto salary range: $65,500–$99,000 per year. EY also describes a benefits package that includes medical, prescription drug and dental coverage, a defined contribution pension plan, vacation, paid days, and other wellbeing programs.
