The Educational Assistant supports students’ physical, social, academic, and behavioural well-being. You will reinforce life skills, implement student-specific plans, assist instructional programming, and provide care and supervision. The position works under school administration, classroom and student service teachers, and clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support skills development and foster student independence
- Implement student-specific plans and articulated programming
- Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional time
- Assist students with mobility and personal safety




- Prepare materials and equipment for programming

Requirements:

- Educational Assistant diploma and two years’ experience with children
- Experience supporting physical, cognitive, or behavioural challenges preferred
- Complete required safety and violence prevention training
- Demonstrate communication, rapport-building, and problem-solving abilities
- Meet physical demands including lifting and transferring students
