Protect Toronto Zoo guests, staff, and wildlife assets in Toronto as a Security Representative with patrol, emergency response, and guest service duties.

This permanent full time position supports the Health & Safety Services Branch and daily Zoo operations. Responsibilities include site patrols, access control, investigations, traffic direction, emergency calls, safety audits, and customer assistance. The role also supports implementation of the Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Zoo site patrols and protect assets
- Control access and respond to emergency calls
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and reported infractions
- Provide guest assistance, escorts, and first aid
- Inspect emergency equipment and public safety areas

Requirements:

- Diploma in law enforcement, security, criminology, or equivalent experience
- Two years of law enforcement or security experience
- Valid Ontario Security Guard licence under PSISA
- Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer CPR certification
- Full Ontario G licence and good driving record
