Prepare sterile drug admixtures in Calgary as a Cleanroom Pharmacy Technician using aseptic manipulation and pharmacy technology skills. This full time position supports Royal Drugs’ specialty pharmacy services.
Under cleanroom supervision and pharmacy direction, the Cleanroom Technician prepares prescriptions according to detailed work instructions. The work includes order entry, label verification, production staging, packaging, cleaning, and final checks. Royal Drugs operates alongside Ontario Medical Supply to support healthcare organizations and home healthcare clients across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile drug admixtures through aseptic manipulations
- Prepare prescriptions according to technical specifications
- Complete staging, labelling, packaging, and final checks
- Perform order entry,
label verification, and cleaning procedures
- Maintain quality, safety, confidentiality, and training requirements
Requirements:
- Secondary school education and accredited Pharmacy Diploma
- Registration or eligibility with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
- Current regulated pharmacy technician certification and licence
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently or within a group
