Plan transportation and dispatch activities in Winnipeg with Canada Packers, using SAP and TM to coordinate shipments and daily routes.
This 12-month contract supports the Transportation Supply Chain team and reports to the Domestic Transportation Manager. The coordinator plans varied shipments, maintains carrier programs, and supports distribution across Canada Packers. Success requires logistics experience, communication, and careful decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Carrier Scorecard program
- Execute and maintain the carrier claims program
- Oversee Brandon to Winnipeg tracking and lane optimization
- Create route plans, schedules, and SOP documentation
- Notify carriers about pickups, purchase orders, and appointments
Requirements:
- Three or more years in distribution, logistics, or transportation
- Related business, distribution, logistics, or PLOG diploma or degree
- Exceptional communication with stakeholders at all levels
- Functional SAP capability and adaptability to current systems
- Geographic knowledge and strong attention to detail
