Lead quality improvement and patient safety at Scarborough Health Network’s Centenary Site in a temporary, full-time daytime position. Use data analysis and risk management methodologies.

Reporting to the Manager, Quality and Patient Safety, this leader advances continuous improvement across SHN. The position leads quality initiatives, patient safety reviews, and system-wide improvement efforts. It also supports investigations, corrective actions, accreditation activities, and quality planning to improve outcomes and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop quality and patient safety strategies with clinical teams
- Monitor incidents, critical reviews, walkabouts, trends, and evidence-based improvements
- Facilitate reviews, determine root causes, and recommend preventive actions
- Lead QI projects through analysis, testing,



implementation, and monitoring
- Prepare reports on quality and patient safety indicators

Requirements:

- University degree in Engineering or Health Disciplines
- Minimum one year in safety, risk, investigations, and project management
- Advanced qualitative and quantitative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Robust communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Expert Microsoft Office and healthcare software proficiency
