Licensed industrial electricians apply electrical troubleshooting expertise across departments while maintaining equipment, wiring, and instrumentation systems safely. Rotating shifts apply.

This electrician installs, repairs, replaces, and troubleshoots electrical equipment for buildings, machinery, and equipment. The work includes operational, predictive, and preventative maintenance, plus power distribution, motor controls, communication systems, and instrumentation. Safety requirements include Ontario legislation and the Canadian Electrical Code.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, replace, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and components
- Maintain wiring, power distribution, lighting, motors, and drives
- Read, interpret, and revise electrical drawings and schematics




- Install and troubleshoot communication and instrumentation systems
- Perform lockout, hazard control, and emergency safety procedures

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent completion
- Valid Ontario electrician certification or accepted journeyperson qualification
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, rotate shifts, and work in wide-ranging temperatures
- Specialized safety training and personal protective equipment use
