Coordinate fleet maintenance for the City of Kamloops as a temporary, full time Fleet Service Advisor with logistics and customer service skills. Work Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This training opportunity develops Fleet Service Advisor capability within the City’s fleet operations. The position connects mechanics, equipment operators, and supervisors while supporting maintenance scheduling and safety compliance. Training includes earning a post-secondary certificate in Business or Office Administration, or a related discipline, with an accounting course.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate maintenance schedules for the City fleet
- Connect mechanics, equipment operators, and supervisors
- Support fleet operations and essential City services




- Work with computerized vehicle maintenance management systems

Requirements:

- Post-secondary certificate in Business or Office Administration, or related discipline
- At least one completed accounting course
- Two years recent Service Advisor or Service Writer experience
- Intermediate Word and Excel proficiency demonstrated through testing
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
