Operate freight sorting equipment as a PM Sorter with Purolator in Richmond, British Columbia, using forklifts and power pallet jacks.
This full-time, permanent position sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape. You will support client delivery schedules in a warehouse setting. The schedule runs Saturday through Tuesday, from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort freight by destination, weight, size, and shape
- Use forklifts and power pallet jacks
- Unload freight onto conveyors from curbside trucks
- Load freight into linehaul trucks, cube trucks, or trailers
- Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted packages
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English for frequent stakeholder communications
- Forklift certification is an asset, not required
- Power pallet jack certification is an asset, not required
- No specialized education is required
- No prior experience is necessary
