Troubleshoot Caterpillar equipment and engines as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Finning Canada in Yellowknife, NT. This permanent position follows a 14x14 continuous shift rotation.

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will oversee repairs across Caterpillar equipment and other manufacturer engines. The work includes equipment troubleshooting, customer interaction, sales support, safety requirements, and Finning’s Customer Service Commitment. Two openings are available at the Jackfish power plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot equipment and perform equipment repairs
- Oversee repairs on Caterpillar equipment and engines
- Interface with customers, products, and sales support
- Support on-site safety requirements with the Supervisor
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- Minimum one year Heavy Duty Technician experience
- Dedication to workplace safety
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Caterpillar product knowledge considered an asset
