Registered Practical Nurses support Resident assessments and nursing care while communicating with families, physicians, and health care team members.

This Registered Practical Nurse role supports high quality nursing care for Residents. You will coordinate prescribed care plans, report pertinent information, and delegate appropriate activities to Personal Support Workers. Practical Nursing diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing credentials are accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with initial and ongoing Resident assessments
- Coordinate nursing actions related to prescribed care plans
- Refer, report, and record pertinent Resident care information
- Delegate appropriate activities to Personal Support Workers
- Communicate with Residents, families, and physicians

Requirements:

- Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Eligible to practice with no restrictions
- Geriatrics experience considered an asset
- Flexibility for shift work and weekends
