The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board seeks Educational Resource Workers or Educational Assistants for Orangeville, Caledon, and Bolton schools. Working with the Special Education team, you will help develop and implement strategies supporting student identity, engagement, well-being, and learning. Duties follow student needs, Ministry of Education regulations, and Board policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support students’ safety, medical, and physical needs
- Assist mobility through lifting, transferring, toileting, and positioning
- Work individually or within group settings
- Facilitate student independence,

- Respond to assigned duties and emergent situations

Requirements:

- Early Childhood Education or Educational Assistant diploma preferred
- Secondary diploma with entry-level ECE or EA knowledge
- Recent experience supporting students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Ability to perform lifting, positioning, and transferring duties
- May receive CPR or crisis intervention training
