Diagnose forestry equipment in the field using mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic expertise. Travel throughout the territory supporting customers and protected equipment operation.

As a Field Service Technician, you will service forestry equipment for ALPA Equipment customers across Atlantic Canada. The work includes advanced diagnostics, repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will use manufacturer software, electronic testing equipment, and specialized tools while working across brands including Ponsse, Rotobec, Landrich, and Terex Fuchs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment issues
- Perform repairs, inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance
- Use diagnostic software, testing equipment, and specialized tools




- Document service work accurately and professionally
- Communicate repair recommendations and equipment concerns with customers

Requirements:

- Journeyperson or apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician experience
- Millwright, Truck and Transport, or transferable mechanical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence and computer experience
- Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and required overtime
