Reporting to the Patient Care Manager or designate, the Clinic Support Assistant provides administrative, reception, and clerical services. The position supports client records, calendars, inquiries, reports, correspondence, supplies, and clinic workspaces. Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and medical terminology are central to daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate appointments, tests, notifications, and client information
- Receive referrals and update clinical records and databases
- Prepare correspondence, reports, minutes, and statistical information
- Maintain supplies, equipment, files,



and workspaces
- Respond to inquiries and greet clients in waiting areas

Requirements:

- Grade 12 and recognized medical office assistant course
- Three years’ recent related experience, or equivalent combination
- Medical terminology and community clinic management knowledge
- Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, electronic records, and database skills
- Typing speed of 40 words per minute
