Registered Practical Nurse needed at WRHN @ Midtown for full-time acute medicine care, communication, and safe clinical practice during 2D2N shifts.

This Registered Practical Nurse position supports General Medicine – 8 ABC at WRHN @ Midtown. The nurse works with nursing and allied staff to maintain professional practice standards within the clinical setting. The position also contributes to a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Acute Medicine experience is preferred, with medical patient care knowledge required.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Ability to catheterize, monitor IVs, and use aseptic technique
- Skilled in blood glucose testing and 12-lead EKGs
- Knowledge of oxygen equipment and setup
- Basic computer skills and positive attendance record
