Shape custom workplace products at BRC using SolidWorks, prototyping, and manufacturable design solutions for clients across North America.

As a Design Engineer - Custom, you will guide products from customer requirements through design, testing, and production transition. You will create detailed 3D models, assemblies, production drawings, and Bills of Materials. The work combines product development, manufacturing knowledge, client communication, and project coordination. You will collaborate with Design, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, vendors, and clients to resolve technical challenges. BRC is a modern office furniture manufacturer focused on meaningful workplace experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop innovative designs from customer requirements and specifications
- Create SolidWorks models, assemblies, drawings,



and Bills of Materials
- Develop prototypes and pre-production products for evaluation
- Improve products, components, processes, quality, and cost
- Support current product transition into production

Requirements:

- Degree, diploma, or equivalent related engineering or design experience
- 2+ years in product design or design engineering
- Strong SolidWorks 3D CAD proficiency
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability
- Eligibility to work in Canada
