Operate vacuum trucks on Vertex projects near Crossfield, Alberta, using field experience, safety tickets, and disciplined daily execution. Work 20 days on, 10 days off.

Vertex seeks Project Based Vac Truck Operators for projects with locations depending on assignment. You will complete vacuum works, operate safely on a Cenovus site, and support environmental compliance. The position requires at least one year of vacuum truck and oilfield experience, plus solid communication and independent time management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete vacuum works and scheduled services on time
- Operate vacuum trucks safely and efficiently on Cenovus sites
- Perform shoveling, spotting, and ground assistance
- Maintain logs, dispatch reports, trip reports, and timesheets




- Complete inspections, housekeeping, and routine maintenance procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum one year operating vacuum trucks
- Minimum one year oilfield experience
- Valid Class 3 license; Class 1 is an asset
- Required safety tickets, including First Aid/CPR, CSTS20, TDG, and H2S Alive
- Ability to follow environmental, health, safety, and compliance requirements
