Apply carpentry and maintenance expertise to construction, repairs, and campus facilities support. This position includes independent work and coverage at other campuses.

The Carpenter supports cabinets, furniture, studs, drywall, ceilings, hardware, floors, corlon, and vinyl tiles. Duties include preparing materials and completing assigned carpentry work. Candidates need Ontario carpentry certification, trade training, and significant recent related experience. Healthcare experience is ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct and repair cabinets and furniture
- Construct studs and drywall installations
- Install acoustic T-Bar ceilings
- Install and repair various hardware
- Repair floors, corlon, and vinyl tiles

Requirements:

- Complete secondary school and recognized trade apprenticeship program
- Hold valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification in Carpentry
- Bring significant recent related carpenter experience
- Demonstrate essential maintenance experience
- Communicate effectively and work independently
