The Pharmacy Technician works within College of Pharmacists of British Columbia standards, organizational policies, and unit protocols. Responsibilities include processing pharmacist-approved medication orders, preparing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate pharmacy information. The position also supports inpatient leave prescriptions, pharmacy transfers, stock levels, and assigned clerical work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process clinically reviewed and pharmacist-approved medication orders
- Receive and validate complete, authentic practitioner prescriptions
- Prepare, process,



and compound prescriptions accurately
- Verify order entries and dispensed prescription completeness
- Maintain pharmacy information, stock levels, and clerical records

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education
- Graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Current practicing registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to perform position duties
