Support residents at Good Shepherd-Manse Rd Residential as a Personal Support Worker with part-time hours, personal care, and daily living assistance. Monday to Wednesday scheduling requires flexibility for occasional coverage.

This regular part-time position offers 20 hours weekly, from noon to 7 p.m. The Personal Support Worker demonstrates Positive Shepherd’s Mission, Vision, and Values through responsible leadership and effective role modelling. Services include respectful, culturally competent support within an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with routine daily living activities
- Provide bathing, grooming, skin, bowel, and bladder care
- Support mobility and personal assistive aids
- Complete laundry,



meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Report hazards and safety concerns to management

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Support Worker certificate or related credential
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience supporting people with mental health or addictions issues
- Ability to document care and resident preferences
- Valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
