Trailer mechanics with B620 experience can maintain transport equipment at Caron Transportation Systems’ Sherwood Park terminal. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This Trailer Mechanic reports to the Shop Supervisor or Lead Hand. The work includes inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing trailer systems and components. Maintenance follows the Caron Transportation Maintenance Manual and regulatory requirements. Scheduled testing and certification of highway tanks supports dangerous-goods transportation under CSA B620 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service transport trailers
- Test and certify highway tanks under CSA B620 standards
- Troubleshoot trailer tank systems and components




- Interpret work orders, procedures, and technical manuals
- Write work orders and complete manufacturer-specified repairs

Requirements:

- Journeyman or apprentice status with two-plus related years
- B620 certification or experience is an asset
- CVIP license is considered an asset
- Strong regard for safety and reliable work ethic
- Polite, qualified attitude and schedule flexibility
