In-service pipeline welding leads this Welder position with TC Energy in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Work nine days on, five days off, on nine-hour days.

Reporting to the Construction Services West Manager, you will support pipeline and facilities construction teams. The work covers natural gas pipelines, structural steel, piping, hot tapping, and shop fabrication. You will also support hydro testing, project staging, contractors, and safety documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform in-service welding on natural gas pipelines up to NPS 48
- Hot tap high-pressure natural gas pipelines up to NPS 48
- Weld branch connections for hot tap preparation
- Fabricate piping assemblies and complete hydro testing
- Support emergency repairs on natural gas pipeline systems

Requirements:

- Journeyman Welder certification
- Five years' cellulosic and low hydrogen welding experience
- High-pressure natural gas or oil pipeline welding experience
- Knowledge of CSA Z662, ASME, and CWB regulations
- Ability to pass a welding test before hiring
