As a Patient Care Assistant, you will provide preparation and post-exam care for CT, MRI, and other modalities as needed. The corporate role supports all three Osler sites and includes patient instructions, screening documentation, intravenous insertion, and basic patient care. Venipuncture experience is required, while medical terminology and diagnostic imaging knowledge strengthen your qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for CT and MRI examinations
- Provide post-exam care and basic patient care
- Ensure completion of pre-screening documents




- Perform intravenous insertion where indicated
- Explain waiting and gown-changing instructions to patients

Requirements:

- Certified medical laboratory assistant or equivalent program graduate
- Venipuncture experience and medical terminology knowledge
- Health sciences background; radiation technology experience preferred
- Computer knowledge and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and communicate within inter-skilled teams

Use venipuncture, patient care, and diagnostic imaging knowledge while supporting CT and MRI services throughout Osler.
