Support HVAC systems, boilers, and daily building operations as an Assistant Building Operator under Facilities leadership. This role includes equipment monitoring and maintenance.

Reporting to the Director of Facilities or designate, the Assistant Building Operator supports building operations, maintenance, and repairs throughout the site. Responsibilities include daily rounds, equipment readings, preventive maintenance, service requests, and building automation systems. The role helps maintain protected, efficient, compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist daily operations and maintenance programs
- Record equipment readings and inspect irregularities
- Complete preventive and demand maintenance tasks
- Monitor building automation and electrical systems
- Respond to service requests and maintenance demands

Requirements:

- Secondary diploma or equivalent education and experience
- One or more years related experience is an asset
- First Aid and BES Class 2 required
- Power tools experience and Microsoft Office skills
- Availability for on-call and emergency call-outs
