As a Group Insurance Underwriter, you will prepare quotes, underwrite renewals, and analyze contract amendment requests. Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, you will assess financial risk, determine rates, and support evolving underwriting processes. The role connects underwriting with Sales and Actuarial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess financial risk in group insurance contracts
- Determine rates and prepare quotes for prospective clients
- Calculate rates for existing client renewals
- Assess contract amendment impacts on pricing
- Support underwriting process improvements, automation,



and technology tools

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or related field
- Zero to three years’ group insurance underwriting experience considered an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and good Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills
- Full skilled French and intermediate English proficiency
